Cafe Blush
Cafe Blush is a restaurant primarily focused on pasta however it's not exactly traditional Italian flavours. It's very common in Japan to have restaurants serving Western food but utilising Japanese flavours.
My favourite dish here is the Mentaiko Pasta, which is basically marinated cod roe. The way it's made here has a creamy buttery texture. It is topped with onsen egg and nori which gives more depth to the flavour.
I always find myself craving for this dish and although I sometimes make it at home with the instant packets, it's just not the same.
