Peko Peko - South Melbourne

Peko Peko is quite a nostalgic restaurant for me, it was here that I spoke to length to the Japanese Akita breeder in Sydney over the phone about adopting one of the pups. The conversation took up almost the entirety of the dinner!

We revisited again recently and I was able to fully enjoy the food they had to offer. Highlights were the Pop Chicken and Singapore Noodle. The Pop Chicken which is similar to the Hot Star style, seasoned with salt and pepper, came out hot, crunchy and full of flavour. The Singapore noodle had a even distribution of the spicy curry powder flavour and a generous amount of veggies.

It was funny to see the same cloud latte as my first visit.

 The wait time was around 30mins, as the location and delicious food made it a favourite of the locals living around the apartments, on top of that they were clearly juggling with various food delivery service orders.
