Volume 2 Cafe
Volume 2 cafe is located on Victoria Street which is well known for it's Vietnamese eateries and grocery due to it's history, but like many older suburbs it's undergoing a slow change in scenery with the new generation business owners. The cafe space is very cosy as it has many smaller rooms inside being a heritage building.
Little Lamb Benedict $21
Not only was the lamb tender, flavoursome and quite fatty, the accompanying sauce was deliciously rich and creamy! The veggie helped balance out the overall richness.
Fritter Me This $18
The fritters had rough, rustic texture and good crunchiness. It was quite strong in flavour so I recommended pairing it with the sauce and tangy pickled salad to balance out the flavours.
White Chocolate Daddy Waffles $18
House made waffles, the outer was superbly crunchy with a strong buttery flavour. Definitely need to eat with the sauce, fruits and mascarpone!
